Between my husband and I, Dr Matthews has done 3 arthroscopic knee surgeries, 2 rotator shoulder surgeries, and 1 carpal tunnel surgery. I am currently preparing for an upcoming total knee replacement. There is no fear of surgery when your Dr prays over you before, cares for you after, then roots you on to a successful recovery. I wouldn’t consider anyone else!

Dr. Matthews is always friendly. He listens to my concerns and explains everything to me so that I truly understand what's going on. I broke my ankle and tore all of the ligaments several years back. He's operated on it a few times. Each time before the surgery, Dr. Matthews prayed with me that the surgery would be a success! I've always felt at ease with him and his abilities. His staff is very professional too.

He is the best! He has the best bed side manner and is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Mathews has preformed 2 surgeries on me. A Birmingham hip replacement and a complete knee replacement. Dr. Mathews took time with me to explain what I needed to know about each surgery. His bedside manner is outstanding. Dr. Mathews was the second surgeon I saw to have my hip replaced with the Birmingham procedure (developed in Birmingham England). The other surgeon did not have the experience/knowledge to preform a Birmingham hip surgery. The first surgeon wanted to put in an old style hip parts. If you need a surgery Dr Mathews preforms, without question I highly recommend you make an appointment to see if Dr Mathews is the surgeon for you.

He and his support people are wonderful. They have done two surgeries for me. I wish he covered all the specialties - I'd never go to anyone else.
