Very low wait times, personal approach. very small office so he knows his patients. he is a wonderful pediatrician!

I've been with Dr.May for years now. So have my brothers and sisters.

I really loved my former pediatrician but she moved out of state. A friend recommended Dr. May and I really like him. I haven't really had any emergency emergencies with my 2 sons (knock on wood) but when I had some questions he was very easy to get a hold of. Donna, his receptionist, is a sweetheart. Sometimes she seems flustered and busy but she is really friendly and will always bend over backwards for you. I love Dr. May's demeanor. He is so "undoctorlike" and I love it! You know how some doctors are very vain and condescending and they rush exams? Not Dr. May. He is very quiet and gentle with my children and you can tell he really adores kids. He is very pro-vaccination and I am not vaccinating and while he did have a long conversation with me about it on my first visit he has never brought it up again. I have done a lot of research on the subject and he respects my wishes even though I know inwardly he does not agree. It doesn't seem like a typical doctor's office to me and… you know what? I kinda like that. It is very personal and Dr. May knows each of my sons personally and cares about them. I would definitely recommend this practice.

While my husband and I were out of town for the weekend, my dear 4-year-old decided it'd be a brilliant idea to stick a little rock up his nose. Once our babysitter noticed, she tried to remove it with no luck. I have no idea how she found Dr. May (as he is not our regular doctor), but he actually came into the office on a Sunday to see my son and remove the rock. For that, I will be forever appreciative. It avoided a costly and traumatic trip to the ER.

We switched from a pediatric office that was so full that we always waited and then when we finally got to see the doctor we felt rushed and felt like a number. Dr. May takes his time, we've never really waited at an appointment and he moved swiftly in getting my son an appointment with a specialist that helped my son tremendously. I would highly recommend Dr. May and his practice.

We switched to Dr. May from a multi-doctor practice that has grown so big that our kids were lost. Dr. May knows us and our kids - he's got great bedside manner. We have been with him for over a year, and we are so happy.

We are so lucky to have found Dr. May! On so many occasions we have called and been able to get in within the hour. He has also seen us after traditional hours. Wonderful, caring, comprehensive knowledge. Warm office environment.

I have never had a problem making appointments, but Dr. May is a little to pushy with his opinions for my taste. I am choosing to spread my daughters vaccinations out over a longer period of time because I believe giving a baby more than one shot in one visit or one shot every single visit is cruel and dangerous. However Dr. May dose not believe me and he all but called me stupid for my convictions, I simply take her to a homeopathic doctor for vaccines and go to May for well baby visits. I think his office is a little strange too, there was a dog there one time that's a little unprofessional and unsanitary. His receptionist is a little cookie and socially awkward but not a bad person.

My children have been patients of Dr. May for almost six years now, and they absolutely ADORE him! (Sometimes I wonder if they pretend that they are sick just to see him). Dr. May has such a youthful energy, and has really taken the time to know my children, unlike some of the larger pediatric warehouses that treat kids like co-pays, not people. When I call to schedule, it has always been easy for me to get an appointment, even if I call that day. Once I arrive, I usually don't have to wait at all! I have never had difficulty in reaching Dr. May. If his office is closed, you simply call the number he provides, which is usually his cell, and he either answers the phone or calls you back within 5 minutes. Since Dr. May's office is attached to his home, he has even opened his doors after hours for us in an emergency. How many doctors do you find like that nowadays? Donna, his receptionist is kind and efficient, and will be honest in providing you the best time to come to the… office. She is also great at keeping Dr. May on schedule, as he enjoys answering questions and providing comprehensive information to parents. He even called my son the day he had outpatient surgery at Dupont, just to see how he was doing! If you are looking for a doctor with great bedside manner in a boutique personal setting, THIS IS YOUR GUY!!

I had changed jobs and with a change of job came a change of insurance. He was the only pediatrician my new insurance covered. Besides having my children,he was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. I LOVE HIM !!!! It's awesome to have my children in the care of someone that loves and truly cares about them.
