Dr. Daniel Joseph Mcguire, MD

Dealt with him in May 2008. Had a broken fibula and tibula. Every interaction made me dislike him more. He was annoyed by questions, rushed, and had poor bedside manner over all. He communicated poorly and I only learned about problems with my surgery (screws failed to hold, I can also see them bulging agaisnt my skin) after requesting a copy of my file. I feel like I got the guy on call who didn't want to be there and wanted to get back to his Saturday. Hoping his service improved.

Dr. Mcguire is a very good doctor, knowledgeable, caring and confident!

My husband fell off a grain bin 27 years ago and broke both his ankles. Dr. McGuire performed surgery on both of them. He was a very good surgeon.

I dealt with him through work comp, he's totally against work comp patients, a total quack in that regard.

My husband had a very herinated disc that shooting pain down his leg, it was awful for him. We went a neurosurgeon who came in and immediatley told him he wouldnt do surgery on him until he lost weight and referred him to weight lost clinic to have weight lost surgery as well as the pain clinic. I couldnt believe it, those surgeries most general don't have good results. The pain clinic gave him several different pain pills which hardly touched the pain, no womder people get addicted to them they way they hand them out. So has my husband suffered in pain to have weightloss surgery I was scared for him to have knowing he could lose it on his own if the pain was gone. 4 months went by and I desided to get a second opinion. I did alot of research on surgeons in the area. Thats when I found Dr.Mcguire and had a good feeling he could help. He called talked to my husband and set up appointment for 2 days later. Went to see him after speaking with him for an hour about surgery in great… detail, and told us he would and needed to preform the surgery soon because he may already have nerve damage. And he didnt need to lose weight to do surgery. We was so happy there was hope for pain relief. He got insurance approval and he performed surgery the next day. This was almost 2 weeks ago and no pain in fact it was gone that same day which the Dr said may be a few days to go away if the surgery works. Pain is gone the incision is healing nicely. My husband is getting around like a new man, and will be going back to work after 4 months. He does seem to come off a little cocky but we wasnt there for his personality we needed a good surgeon and that he is. Thank you

Dr McGuire was the doctor that did my amputation below the right knee. He tried saving the foot many times before removing the foot and ankle. He explained everything as the procedure was done. The other surgeon wanted to remove everything the night I was taken to the ER. Dr. McGuire chose to try and save it.He went that extra mile and plus. Thanks Doc..

My case was work comp. I had an MRI taken in my home town ,picked it up and the report and took to him. I read the report that said I had 2 herniated disks. When I gave it to him he took it out into the hall. I could hear him chuckling, he came back into the room and told me there was nothing wrong with me and it was all in my head. This was several years ago. I have had back problems every since. Finally saw a Dr. a couple years ago when it flared up and ended up having 5! Yes 5 fusions in my back. same area he said I didn't have problem! He is rude and obnoxious.
