Dr. Daniel John Mckenna, MD

Despite reading many negative reviews of Dr. McKenna and his staff my experience was just the opposite. I found Dr. McKenna to be pleasant, cordial, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to explain to me what was causing my problems. The office staff was also pleasant and very easy to deal with.

Bad manners and poor medical knowledge.

I go in there with symptoms that I've had for months. His PA Sean makes his diagnosis in 5 seconds. I tell him, "but I'm feel the fluid flowing into my ears and increasing the pressure every time i lay my head down" in addition to other symptoms. His response is "I have no idea what that is", you have TMJ, wear a night guard." He wouldn't even consider any other possibility even though I'm having symptoms he can't explain. He says people come in here all the time, and it's just TMJ. I'm wondering how many people he diagnosis with TMJ who then go to a real doctor and get a actual diagnosis. He doesn't even understand the most basic role of a diagnostician. The best part is that when I'm leaving, he yells "Don't be mad at me because there is nothing wrong with your ears!" You work as an ear, nose, and throat "specialist", it couldn't possibly be anything else???

Well i have been having this Discomfort and pain in my right nostril .say dr .and because he couldnt see anything they discomfort and pain that im having didnt exists .im real lucky if i got 5 minutes of his time .he wouldnt even listen to anything that i had to say .another one of those doctors that think there God .A very uncaring person and a real waste of 35.00 dollars .will be going for a second opinion somewhere else .

my co pay was 35.00 for a specialist visit. they charged us 65.00 I asked why and they said in case there was a procedure to be done. the doctor did nothing but look in my right ear and said everything was okay .he never checked my throat or nose for a problem. would not let my wife talk at all, very arrogant, and there not any procedure done unless they call opening the door to the office a procedure. the front desk girls were annoyed that i questioned the cost. This doctor was rude, arrogant, insulting and downright nasty. He didn't listen to me, he wasn't interested in hearing my history, and was off-putting to the point I will never return to him. Never been treated like that by a doctor in my life.

Do not use this Dr, he is only in it for the money, he needs to pay for his lamborghini and will order unnecessary procedures and unnecessary operations. He dis not listen to the patient.

Saw him twice, diagnosed on 2nd visit after a cat scan by his office with a blocked sinus. He wouldnt listen about the dust, mold or red tide I was dealing with at work, and suggested surgery right off the bat. Got a call from his office since it was an in office procedure my costs was $4,000.00, which being on Medicaid I couldnt cover. Nor was I shown my CAT scan or anything proving I needed surgery. I explained this when called to set up surgery. I have left messages and even went on line to request access to my records and copy of cat scan. Im still waiting for a return call. Im still waiting on access to my own records. I should have known to walk away when I saw him getting out of a Lambo with butterfly wings just prior to my appt. Only in it for the money and unneeded surgeries. I can feel a difference in my breathing and now nothing..not even the decency of a call back. 2 visits and automatic surgery needed, no proof.

Rude and incompetent. Diagnosed serious ear problem as TMJ and was extremely rude in his approach. Wore teethguard for 3 weeks and ear problem got much worse. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
