Dr. Daniel Burnes Mcmillan, MD

I have nothing but great things to say about DR. McMillan and the entire staff of midwives. However, the Admin of the office, the nurses, the clerical staff, even the phlebotomist leave a whole lot to be desired. They are impolite, arrogant, and rude. I am fed up with the way they treat me and if i was not so far along in my pregnacy i would fire them and go elsewhere. I will definitely be looking for a new OBGYN after this pregnancy. It is a shame too, because I really do like the midwives, they are wonderful, but its not worth it for the treatment of the rest of the office staff.

Dr. McMillan has been my OB/GYN for over 20 years. My 1st pregnancy was challenging. I began pre-term labor as early as 21 weeks. Ever since when I speak he listens. Dr. McMillian has never misdiagnosed me and I have 2 medical record folders for his office. I have had that many issues. Dr. McMillianâ??s bedside manners are nothing like I have ever seen with anyone else. He always takes the time to listen to every concern I have and I always feel like I am the patient he is focusing on when he is with me in the exam room. If I see him in the hospital he takes a few minutes to ask about my family and takes interest in where they are today. If I had to say something negative it would be the wait time to see him, but when you receive the care he gives you it is worth the wait! I would recommend Dr. McMillan! I am very thankful for the care he has provided me and my four children.

He will always spend as much time as I need. Sometimes he can seem rushed but if I simply say I need more time, he calmly sits and makes me feel as if we have all the time in the world to go through my questions. I often do wait quite awhile for my appointment, but frankly I think it is well worth the wait. I know that when it is my turn he will not be rushing me through. I had many unusual medical issues, some dangerous, and he was on top of it. I always felt like he was looking out for me and was not ever wrapped up in his own ego. Supportive of second opinions and helpful in getting medical records. He was very patient and knowledgeable. EXCELLENT!!!!!!
