Dr. Daniel Peter Metz, MD

I had two surgeries with Dr. Metz and he made both go smoothly and he took the scariness of having surgery out of it. His confidence helped me be confident even though I was afraid. I had a cubital tunnel release (ulnar transposition) and my recovery time was easy. I never used any pain killers, which he sent me home with. This may be due to my pain tolerance, but I feel it was due to his expertise. He is a natural at what he does! He has excellent people skills and will listen to you and won't write you off. I also had to have a ganglion cyst removed in my wrist before the cubital tunnel release and that surgery also went smooth as did the healing time. If I should ever need another Orthopedic surgery (knock on wood I do not have to) I will be insistent that he is my surgeon!

This guy butchered my wife's arm and then tried to blame us when we were given the wrong after care instructions.

Dr. Metz has performed two knee replacemnts on me. I have had calls directly from him in regard to my status.I like his attention to detail, and willingness to answer questions. I would not recommend anyone else.

dr. metz performed an ankle fusion which completely failed, however, he repeatedly insisted that the ankle had fused. This resulted in the patient having to undergo a a much more complicated revision surgery.

I need to follow up on a past injury with Dr Metz. However, he is no longer at the location listed on this site. I am at a dead end in locating his new office.
