Dr. Daniel Lee Middleton, MD

Broke a bone in my dominant hand and since I’m only 47 I want my hand to heal correctly for long term health and use. This doctor does not specialize in hands or wrists and he laughed at me when I suggested i see Someone who specializes in hands and wrists. He told me and I quote “you probably need to see six specialists”. And instead of telling me about my break he lectured me on the use of opioids. I never Once suggested he write me a script. This guy is rude. He belittled me and made me feel terrible that I broke a bone. He made me feel like I was bothering him. If I couldve given him zero stars I would have. Don’t waste your time, he is a complete jerk.

Takes time to talk and informs you of procedure being done answering any questions asked. Great bedside manner with a sense of humor which helps patient feel relaxed. Surgery went well and there was considerable discomfort the first 12 hours after surgery all went as scheduled and find.

I had surgery by Dr. Middleton for a torn meniscus. After several months I still had significant pain and could not resume my normal activities. I had a second MRI. Dr. Middleton was not interested in me any more at that point and said he could do nothing more for me. I sought a second opinion, and that doctor compared the MRI I had before Dr. Middleton's surgery with the one I had following it, while still supposedly under Dr. Middleton's care, and he could see a residual tear in my meniscus that had been missed in surgery. I had another surgery by this new doctor, and it is now four months later, and I am able to run again and return to my normal life! So glad I didn't accept what Dr. Middleton said - I'd be handicapped for the rest of my life.
