Dr. Daniel John Muppidi, MD

Dr. Muppidi is the most unprofessional, rude doctor I have ever encountered. He told me I was supposed to have breakfast prior to my appointment and that I was told in a text message and that the test would take 2 hours. He acted like I was an idiot for not following instructions. I re-read the text sent which stated that the consult would be up to 1 hour and did not say anything about eating beforehand. He made me leave to eat and come back. I went across the street to Starbucks and was back in a matter of minutes. I then waited for 20 minutes for him to see me. He insulted me multiple times to the point I began to cry. He said not to answer questions without thinking then complained when I took longer to answer questions. He said I was wasting his morning. He then made fun of me for crying. I told him I felt like he was being disrespectful to me at which he insulted my intelligence. I let him know I am a scientist and he then laughed at me. As I was leaving he then shouted I was… disrespectful into the waiting room where there were other patients. I called my primary from the parking lot and scheduled to see another allergist. As I was doing so Dr. Muppidi texted me to say I could come back in and was welcome there. That is the least welcomed I have ever felt in a place of business, let alone a doctors office. I would not recommend anyone for the pure fact he lacks any manners, respect, and kindness. You never know what a person is dealing with and for a doctor to treat someone who is dealing with serious health concerns this way is terrifying.

Please don't go to this man. Only interested in the money. He gave me venom shots for years and come to find out I didn't need them anymore. I go to a different doctor now who does things properly. Each patient should have their own set of whatever their injections are, not everyone given their injections from the same bottles. Also, my first clue should have been how he kept saying what great insurance I had.

He really doesn't know what he's doing. After I reached my maintenance dose he continued to try to increase the strength of my shot. After I had reaction in his office, he still wanted to try to increase my dose strength in increments! I switched to another allergist and he told me increasing my dose past maintenance was a bad idea!

The previous review about this doctor is correct. This doctor's main concern is money. I was referred to this doctor by my primary physician. When I went for my appointment I did not have my insurance card with me. He refused to see me unless I made the full payment, which I did not have. I called my primary physician's office as they had referred me to this doctor and they said that they would fax my insurance card information to this doctor's office. But Dr. Muppidi insisted for money or the insurance card, or come back when I have my insurance card. I went home, in disbelief, after wasting a long trip to this doctor's office.

This doctor is the worst I have ever encountered. He has a very shady manner. He kept giving me shots after I have had them for 15 years. Once I left him and went to another highly reputable allergist in Chestnut Hill, I was told that after I was skin tested by Muppidi, I should not have continued with my shots. Hence, he was greedy and only looking for the bottom dollar since I have such excellent insurance. Also, he could not keep staff in his office. They told me he was cheap and would leave after a period of time when they found something better. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS GUY TO ANYONE. HE CLAIMS HE IS AGGRESSIVE IN HIS THERAPY BUT NEVER RELEASES HIS PATIENTS FROM GETTING TREATMENT. HE HAS ALSO DONE OTHER UNSCRUPULOUS THINGS RELATING TO BEDSIDE MANNER AS A DOCTOR AND I BELIEVE HE SHOULD BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE MEDICAL BOARD. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. THERE ARE A LOT OF GREAT ALLERGISTS WHO ARE LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR BENEFIT -- NOT THEIRS AND ARE WONDERFUL DOCTORS. SEEK THEM… OUT.

Great, caring,involved doctor. It can be hard to get an appointment because he splits time between three offices. He sometimes runs late because he is so willing to talk with you and is so thorough.

looked at his computer for 15 out of the 17 minutes he spent with me. Didnt dianose my skin disease accurately. Refused to provide refill prescription even though it was a harmless medicine. Told me to go to the emergency room. Very cold
