Dr. Daniel Wehrmann Nuss, MD

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Nuss during an emergency situation with a family member at OLOL. He is an incredibly warm, kind, and caring individual, making me almost forget he was a doctor. His communication skills are excellent, and he thoroughly explores all options before confirming any diagnosis.Though I was initially terrified, Dr. Nuss explained the situation in a way that conveyed its seriousness while instilling trust in his care for my family member. His calming presence truly made a difference. In my eyes, he delivered excellence in every aspect of his work. I pray that God continues to bless him so he can keep changing lives.

In 2004 my son (who was 16 years old) was diagnosed with a very rare cancer in his left tear duct. We met Dr. Nuss 5 days after surgery and immediately felt a calming and ease with him. He and his nurse, Annette, have been very kind and loving to our whole family. My son's cancer reoccurred 8 years later and he gave my son, who is now married, his cell phone number for me and my husband to call him so he could talk to us. He has cried with us, hugged us, prayed with us and there has never been a time that we had a need or a question that he was not readily available to answer our questions. We initially met Dr Nuss after receiving a scary diagnosis on my son, and Dr. Nuss's calm, kind demeanor immediately helped ease my my mind about what was to come. My son also likes him and that means a lot as well. Dr Nuss always takes time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. He never rushes and takes all the time needed to ensure we understand everything. One year after surgery my son is doing fantastic - so much so, that if you didn't know he had the surgery, you would never know by looking at him. We are blessed to have Dr Nuss care for him.
