Dr. Daniel R O'connor, MD

My first visit was for an evaluation of severe knee pain, and hip discomfort. Firstly, his staff, including the X-ray tech, was very courteous and thorough. Secondly, the pre-evaluation, conducted by, Dorrot (please excuse me if it is not spelled properly), was friendly, professional and focused on all the right questions about the problem. Dr. O'Connor then saw me, and read through all the information. He asked me more questions that got further into the problem, and when I did not understand something, he very patiently showed me on the X-rays what the underlying problem was. He took his time and assured me that the problem was something that could be helped with some physical therapy, and a limited pain reliever. Now, about 6 weeks later, I am feeling much better, and my second visit confirmed his diagnosis was right! I will continue my physical therapy at home and should continue to improve. I made a good choice with Dr. O'Connor, and I can recommend him with confidence.

I learned about Dr. O'Connor from my cousin's wife who has been his patient for several bone issues. He and his staff are everything Annie said. Courteous, professional and cordial as an upfront staff should be. His assistant took my medical history politely and throughly. Then I met Dr. O'Connor who put me at ease and 'listened to me' explain my pain. While still in the same office, his technician took the necessary x-rays. I didn't have to travel anywhere else. With all the information in hand, Dr. O'Connor gave me my options. I did my follow-up appointment yesterday and he saw that the physical therapy is working as we discussed. I've recommended him to several other people and they too had very good experiences. Thank you Dr. O'Connor and your staff........and ....Have a great day!

Excellent surgeon and wonderful caring person. Just had my hip replaced and had a great experience. Sounds odd to say that when you awake with discomfort but the horrible pain was placed by soreness that has subsided and I am 4 weeks out with no walker or cane and no pain. I traveled to Brooklyn from LI because Dr OConnor is a rare find. Compassion understanding and hands of gold. These are what makes a great Dr a greater person.

Dr. O'Connor is low key and VERY straightforward. He explains until you understand what is wrong and what he will do to fix it. I will not see anyone else.

Family member had ACL reconstruction surgery and we were very pleased with all the services. A few months later I began to have knee pain and didn't think twice about making an appointment with Dr. O'Connor. I'm very satisfied with all services thus far.

Very nice bedside manor. Had a question during the day after my shoulder surgery, called his office to explain, got a call back within 5 min from Doc himself. I'd highly recommend.

I was barely able to walk, mostly spent time in a chair or wheelchair. After Dr. O'Connor replaced both my knees I feel like have been given a new life. God bless him!

The doctor was great; however, the office staff were rude after the initial visits and surgery was over. The manner in which they spoke to me was demeaning and obnoxious. It ruined the whole experience even though the doctor himself was excellent.

This doctor is what every doctor SHOULD aspire to be. He is warm, caring, and skilled beyond belief. When I broke my ankle I was blessed to have Dr. O'Connor to do my surgery. I wish he could be my doctor for everything. He really is that awesome.
