Daniel Pechstedt, NP

Daniel Pechstedt is a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. After graduating from UC San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, he went on to earn a master’s degree in nursing at California State University Long Beach. He has been working as a family nurse practitioner in Torrance since 2014. He also has five years of experience working as a registered nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he specialized in oncology.
In his practice, Daniel focuses on preventative medicine and on promoting health and quality of life. He takes care to address not only the physical, but also the psychological and emotional well being of his patients. Daniel believes that the provider-patient relationship can only be effective when there is mutual trust and respect, and he strives to develop a personalized therapeutic partnership with each of his patients.
Daniel is married and has two daughters, and in his free time his favorite thing to do is spend time with his …family. Outside of his family and his profession, surfing is his main passion. He also enjoys cooking, gardening, playing guitar, and hiking.
