Dr. Daniel E. Prince, MD

I am extremely happy with the care I received from Dr. Prince. My metastatic breast cancer caused a fracture in my left hip and Dr. Prince successfully performed a partial hip replacement which makes my left hip feel better than ever before. I healed very quickly in spite of my underlying cancer. Dr. Prince was kind, compassionate and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I very highly recommend him.

Dr. Prince offers something that no other surgeon in America offers for cancer as far as I know. His skill and expertise with distraction osteogenesis is remarkable. His commitment to and dedication to his patients is also remarkable. He is always happy, cheerful and kind. My son is finishing a year of intense treatment by him, and although I can't say we will miss my son being ill, we will certainly miss Dr. Prince! No matter how busy he is, he always takes the time to be sure that all of our questions are answered and seems to truly care about our family.

I had a small painful tumor in my right thigh removed in surgery. Dr. Prince has a very good bedside manor and explained my options in detail. His initial diagnosis was exact and correct, whereas other doctors were never sure. In surgery, Dr. Prince removed the tumor and tissue around it and tested everything immediately and then explained preliminary results to my wife postop (I was still waking up); and called me a week later when the lab results were confirmed. He is a caring person and prayed with us when I requested. The incision site was sutured not to leave a scar and it healed very well. He is a skilled surgeon. His team, PA Molly and Nurse Margaret are also highly talented in medicine and took time answering every question and with patient education. I gained medical knowledge and also liked the system at Sloane Kettering. Its geared toward healing and you feel like a person not a number. This is quality medical care. All the nurses were top notch, made you comfortable and… knew their medicine and documentation.

Great doctor! He knows what he's doing, he is compassionate and smart. He also has good bed manners, and is always looking for better ways to improve the patient progress. I love him.

I took Clayton my 2 year old son 18hours away from home to see Dr. Prince. There was a wait like every drs office that I've been to. The staff was okay, but Dr. Prince and his PA were amazing! They taught us everything we needed to know about my sons rare disorder, were very down to earth and amazing with all 3 of my children that were in the room. We left feeling better than we ever had before and very excited to begin our surgeries and follow ups with Dr. Prince. It was like meeting a Dr of Greys anatomy.... Perfect!!!!:)

We were referred to Doctor Prince by my son's local orthopedic. Our experience was not memorable. When we arrived for my son's appointment the receptionist was not friendly or welcoming. Second she waited a few minutes to inform me that my appointment had been cancelled and I wrote down my appointment when I made it on the back of the referral. The office made a mistake the should have own to it. Next we get called into the room to be seen by doctor and we are waiting more than 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Once the doctor finally comes to see my son he does not apologize for the wait or anything. We were not feeling this doctor at all. Towards the end he informs us of the surgery he will perform and that once they get approval from the insurance company someone will contact me to schedule the surgery. Its been 12 days and I called the office to follow up. As always the receptionist not welcoming I asked her about my son's surgery appointment and nothing has been done. According… to the receptionist they are waiting for the doctor to tell them what kind of surgery so they can get approvals. Does this really take over 12 days to decide? I asked to speak to the doctor and I got 2 stories first one was the doctor is not there until Thursday. Then I asked to have the doctor contact me and was told he is in the OR. Which is it he comes in on Thursday or he is in the OR? I left my name and number so the surgery department can contact me, but I know they will not. I am not feeling this office nor the doctor. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone. If it was not that my son needed this surgery I would find another doctor who care for all his patients. I give this doctor and office a POOR rating.

Dr. Prince is a top of the notch surgeon, who strives for the latest in technology in order to provide his patients with the best procedures available in the world. This together with his positive attitude make him an excellent surgeon.
