Dr. Daniel A Przygocki

Dr. Daniel Przygocki was born and raised near Lansing, Michigan. He spent eight years attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. During the first four years he studied at the engineering college and received a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Przygocki actively pursued his dental school education. He was appointed representative to the student council in his freshman year and joined the oldest dental fraternal organization, Delta Sigma Delta. In his sophomore year he researched alternative luting agents for crowns and presented a table clinic at the annual meeting for the National Institute for Dental Research.
Also during his second year, the Army awarded him a Health Professional Scholarship, and he started working in the school's dental laboratory. During his final years he also became a house manager for Delta Sigma Delta. He graduated with the highest GPA …among Delta Sigma Delta members and finished in the top 20% of his class. Immediately upon completion of dental school, Dr. Przygocki entered active duty in the Army Dental Corps. During his first year he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, won 3rd prize for a table clinic on Captek crowns at the annual tri-service dental symposium held at the Northwest Naval Dental Center, ran a marathon for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and was rated highest among his peers by the Commander of the Western Regional Army Dental Command. During the next two years Dr. Przygocki volunteered for the Army Special Forces--1st Group at Fort Lewis, Washington, completed airborne training and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom. He was deployed to a combat zone in the Philippines, where he participated in medical/dental missions to help the local population and was pictured on the cover of the military newspaper Stars and Stripes.
He completed a two year post graduate residency in the specialty of Endodontics at Columbia University in New York. While at the university he researched alternative root canal irrigants, instructed dental students in the art and science of Endodontics and worked part-time as a dentist. After completion of his residency he worked in New York City until 2006 before moving to Arizona.
Beyond dentistry Dr. Przygocki enjoys many outdoor activities including: scuba diving, skydiving, running, mountain biking, rock climbing and lots of traveling.
