VERY KIND AND CARING DOCTOR!

Dr Ridout is kind, listens well and diagnosis is fair. I was given a prescription and was told to call back if it was too expensive and they would suggest an alternative. I had left a phone message with my request and left my name and number twice. I never received a call back - therefore no treatment. Perhaps its because I have medicare. So I guess I will wait until I have a blockage.

Hello. I would like to file a complaint against Dr. Ridout. I came in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday. The nurses and nurse anesthesiologists were very friendly but the process did seem a bit jumbled as my care was passed through 3 different nurses and at one point they could not locate my urine sample. I also seemed to be the only person concerned about my Type 1 diabetes affecting the procedure and had to specifically ask for a diabetic bracelet. These procedures are scary and invasive, especially for a young woman. Dr. Ridouts reviews all speak of his kindness and top notch bedside manner so this calmed my fears a bit. I never met him! I kept waiting for him to come in and introduce himself but I was put to sleep before he came in the room. As I came to, I was thinking okay well I can ask him my questions now. He had spoke with my husband and told him, "Everything was fine, she'll live a long and happy life." I told the nurse I had more questions for the… doctor. She informed me that the doctor had already left for the day!!! Without speaking to me, the actual patient, or even waiting for me to gain consciousness! I cannot imagine that's hospital procedure. If it is, it needs to be changed. To be exposed like that to someone who didn't even have the time to speak to me before or after is appalling. I was told I was the last procedure in 22 that day. I am a human being, in pain and seeking medical treatment. None of that was okay.

Our appointment was at 3:45. The patient is medically fragile and recovering from surgery. We are still waiting.

Has one foot out the door when he walks into the exam. Answered his cell phone in the middle of my four minute appointment after I waited an hour and turned my cell off. Orders tests and doesn't even look at them. I think he thinks everyone is there to treat ulcers and gerds.

Dr. Ridout was to check me for varices, that checked out good, but found many stomach ulcers.. his follow up was very informative.

I have severe Crohn's disease. Dr Ridout's gentle manor and expertise was the first time I have visited a GI doctor who actually had an inkling of the pain of this disease. I have seen him three times and haven't changed my opinion

FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS WITH STAFF ONLY . EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS JUST EXCELLENT .
