Dr. Daniel Clay Roney, MD

I am so grateful to have Dr. Roney as my doctor. He listens to me, answers all my questions and truly seems to care for his patients health. And, Kelly his nurse is absolutely awesome, knowledgeable and caring. I trust Dr. Roney and Kelly more than any doctor/nurse I have ever seen. Grateful.

I switched to Dr. Roney after being treated horribly by Dr. Nelson. His bedside manner is excellent, he doesn’t get offended when you ask questions, he actually encourages you to ask as many questions as you need to, he is opened minded and looks outside the box to make sure he doesn’t miss anything that might be going on regarding your situation, his nurse is excellent and you never have to worry if she will call you back. You have to make sure you request your message will be handed to her and not given to the nurse who is over and responsible for either giving her the message or calling you back. The sad part is Dr. Roney and his nurse are very reliable, and trustworthy people. The staff who work in the back are not. I experienced on several occasions when i asked for my message to be given directly to Dr Roneys nurse and they laid it on the back desk folded and had addressed it to Dr Roneys nurse, i never received a call back, and when i called the next day the receptionist looked… at my chart to see if his nurse wrote anything regarding my message and i found out that the nurse who is in charge of handling messages and calls took it upon herself to open the message, write in my chart (that Dr. Nelson, who is not my doctor anymore told her to never allow me certain medications?!) She wrote that in my chart and never let Dr Roneys nurse know that she took a message that had her name on it, and was a patient of Dr Roneys, not a patient of Dr Nelson’s read it, charted it down and threw the message away! She is still working there? That’s the only downsides being a patient of Dr. Roneys you can’t trust anyone in the office except Dr. Roney and his nurse.

I have been going to Dr. Roney for years and I find him to be a very caring doctor.
