Dr. Daniel Milton Rovner, MD

He is a down to business doctor. He is thorough. On point. Helped save my husbands life.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Dr. Daniel Rovner. His office was dimly lit and cluttered, he was very disrespectful to his front desk receptionist and spoke very harshly and rude to her right in front of me several times, which of course was uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional. Half way through my visit, Dr. Rovner halfheartedly said "Oh, I forgot to take your blood pressure, remind me to do that before you leave.." The clincher and absolute worst part is that I smelled alcohol on his breath! It is appalling to me that a medical doctor who's supposed to treat people's real neurological issues would come to work in that state. Bottom line, I did not feel safe being treated by Dr. Rovner and had absolutely no trust or confidence in him. I will never go back to him again, and would strongly caution anyone from being treated by him.

Dr. Rovner has a very caring and professional manner. I had followup questions after leaving his office. He took my calls immediately and spent the time I needed to understand his answers. I'm very impressed that each doctor I saw with this condition, when seeing his name on my records, commented on what a wonderful practitioner he is. Be confident in what he tells you and ask as many questions as you need to.

Horrible bedside manner.Prescribed me as having Hypertension and wanted to put me on medication even though I have extremely low blood pressure. When I questioned his diagnosis he said "well, are you a doctor?"Then on my follow-up visit with him he said "What are you even doing here?" I replied that HIS office staff called me to make an appointment to discuss my MRI results which came back abnormal. He then said "oh, well I guess I'll take a look then." Will NOT be back. And will be reporting him to the Medical Board as well as my insurance which was over-charged.

I would highly recommend him to my family and friends as well as any person who would ask for my opinion. I am a Registered Nurse having worked at Cedars Sinai for over fifteen years.

My Father's Dr. Friends gave a professional recommendation to Dr. Rovner after I had multiple hospitalizations due to "seizure-like" activity. Dr. Rovner spent 15 minutes assessing me, ordered an MRI (which was abnormal) and then told my other Doctors and family he did not believe me. I was noticeably distraught at the time, not understanding what was happening to me, scared, and had a difficult time assessing relevent vs. irrelevent information. He never ordered an EEG and spent little time listening. He tried medication and when it failed he dismissed me. After over 8 years my OB GYN asked me to try another neurologist, Dr. Sutherling of the Epilepsy and Brain Mapping Program who immediately ordered an EEG and diagnosed me with a seizure disorder. I am finally getting proper treatment after 8 years of fine motor loss, memory loss, family struggles and job loss/changes due to embarrassing physical symptoms.

He saved my husband's life. Wonderful doctor, wonderful man.
