I was referred to Dr. Schubert from my Pelvic floor therapist.I had a doctor in Anchorage who I have seen for many years. I was having severe pain and after months of appointments and testing ,she could not help me or figure out what was wrong with me she pretty much gave up. She suggested surgery to help me. With no help from the surgery I was still in pain and worse off than I was before .My first appointment with Dr. Schubert within 20 minutes he told me why I was hurting explained to me why it was hurting and even drew me a picture. I sat and cried Not believing what just happened. I came back and had a small procedure in the office that gave me much-needed relief until I am able to get my next corrective surgery . I can not explain how grateful I am for his expertise and understanding of the horrible pain I was experiencing. A wonderful doctor!

I delivered over a 9 pound baby vaginally at AMNC by 2 midwives. The midwives failed to properly diagnose the degree of tear. I suffered with fecal and urinary incontinence for about a year. Dr. Schubert listened to every complaint. He discovered that my transverse perineal muscels of the perineal body were separated and he re-attached them. He also diagnosed me with a dropped bladder, dropped urethra, and a dropped rectum. This man is by far the most competent doctor I have ever met. He will find out what is wrong and you won't be dismissed.
