I went to Dr. Sciubba for a schwannoma tumor that was located in my cervical area. Dr. Sciubba explained to me that it was going to be removed from the front of my neck. When I went for pretesting and was ready to sign my consent form for surgery, I read that I was going to have a laminectomy and fusion of the spine, something he never mentioned to me during my consultation. After that, I went for the opinion of 2 other doctors and they told me that this additional procedure was not necessary. I did not have the surgery. How could something that important be left out at a consultation, or at least a phone call to let me know that a major surgical procedure had been changed?

2018 Seen Dr. Sciubba, My Multilevel Spine Damages with Positive Myelopathy Test Results are being Diagnosed as Fibromyalgia & Surgery was Denied due Potential to Poor Outcomes. He sent me for Second Opinion after I addressed my Symptoms & Causes with Dr. Riley who was even worse! Dr. Riley Denied All Test Results & Lied in his report, dismissing All Current Symptoms & MRIs! It appears that Misdiagnosis often leads to further Misdiagnosis & Cover Up for Other Doctors instead of Curing Patients! In 2016, I saw Dr. Raber & my MRI CDs were missing at John Hopkins, seen by Hospital & then Deleted with Allergies. I received my CD in mail 9 months later broken. Resent MRI CDs Multiple times. Dr. Raber moved away. 2013-2016, I was Misdiagnosed Multiple times by my Local Hospital after Injuries, so I went to John Hopkins. MRIs revealed much damage.

After waiting almost 2 hours to be seen, he walks in and makes the comment that there were others that were more important ( I seen about 4-5 other patients before me) My appointment was the fastest appointment I have had ever had by any doctor in my entire life. He never even examined me! I told him I was referred by 2 different Doctors to fix the issues with my back after 15 years of failed injections, and was tired of taking medication. his response "fix what". Your a doctor, you should know, which we provided a full folder of documentation that he never looked at. He interrupted me several times while I was pleading my case. His student looked near embarrassed to be in the room with him.

Dr Sciubba literally saved my life . He dealt with complications from a previous surgery performed elsewhere & also provided a fusion on my spine both successful and completely restoring my spine. It’s 6 months post surgery and I’m back doing yoga! He’s both a wizard in the world and a nobleman. My expectations were never to be restored so completely. I’m humbled to have been given this particular doctor. His staff is also noteworthy as part of my recovery (attentive to the slightest details, watching over me post surgery, attending to every need and more). This surgeon is one who attracts many high profile people also traveling from all parts of the globe so if you can get him just feel blessed. I’m honored to have had Dr Sciubba as my physician.

He gave me my life back after removing a tumor, and doing a lumbar fusion. I would not trust anyone elsee.

Dr Sciubba was very through and explained everything to me in detail. He left the decision to me. I opted for surgery. It went EXCELLENT. I have ZERO pain and my recovery (I'm 3 weeks, 2 days out) has been a breeze! I am so thankful for his expertise!

I would refer him to anyone. After being in severe pain for 25 years from sciatica I was walking the next day, I could cross my knees and touch my toes. I was totally pain free. He also did surgery on my spine he did a lumbar Fusion and I was pain-free for that also. If I need more surgery he will be the one to do it. He explains everything so you understand it and he's always available.

Dr. Sciubba was my doctor and surgeon for spondylosis. A year ago he performed a spinal fusion of L5-S1 on me. The surgery went well without any complications. I started walking on the second day, and could pursue easy rehabilitation exercises after a week. Today, almost a full year after the surgery, I experience almost no pain at all when performing everyday activities, and thanks to Dr. Sciubba's great work I could also go back to doing all the sports that I love. I feel great. If it wasn't for Dr. Sciubba, I would have to give up my passion for horseback riding and probably still be doing rehabilitation and hoping for best results. The overall experience at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the visits went by smoothly and without any difficulties. Dr. Sciubba's Staff was also very helpful at all times, and whenever I had to contact them via e-mail, I would always receive a prompt response. The waiting time for a visit never extended 10 min and Dr. Sciubba always asked about my… wellbeing and listened to what I have to say.
