Dr. Daniel Frederick Sones, MD

Dr. Sones recently provided me with sedation during a minor interventional procedure, and I was extremely impressed by his kindness, empathy, skill, and professionalism. The day before the procedure, he spent over thirty minutes with me on the phone for a pre-anesthetic review/evaluation, and he was exceptionally thorough in taking my medical/surgical history, familiarizing himself with my needs and expectations, and talking with me about my options and preferences for anesthesia. He was friendly, funny, and down to earth; he made sure all of my questions were answered and I was satisfied and happy with our anesthesia plan. When I met him the next day right before my procedure, he immediately put me at ease and earned my trust, and I felt secure with him taking care of me. During the procedure, he was very attentive and sensitive to my pain level and made sure I was comfortable; he constantly offered me pain medication, talked with me, and reassured me. Dr. Sones had such a casual yet… incredibly respectful, vigilant, and caring nature, I was as relaxed, calm, and happy as possible throughout the whole process, and I am very grateful to him for giving me such outstanding care.
