I would give negative million stars if I could. I'm a pharmacist and the board of pharmacy asked that I take a cognitive test. He diagnosed me with mild neurocognitive disorder and told me I had a 3% overall cognitive function. Because of this low cognitive function diagnosis he made, they wouldn't give me my pharmacist license back. 6 months later I took the neurocognitive test again with a neuropsychologist and she said I had around a 50% overall cognitive function. You can't go from 3% to 50% in 6 months. He ruined my life. He is not bright, and his expensive yet low-quality cognitive exams are administered by a psychometric analysist, not a neuropsychologist like my second exam. Don't trust this place or guy. If you want the absolutely wrong diagnosis, come here. He is highly unempathetic, unprofessional and condescending. Steer clear of this guy. You can get much cheaper and accurate assessments.

Malcolm Spica is a top-notch neuropsychologist. He's totally professional while staying warm and personable. His knowledge of his area of expertise is without doubt and he truly cares for his patients. Whole-heartedly recommended.

Contrary to another's experience, I found Dr. Spica to be amicable and professional. I was subjected to a battery of exams in an attempt to find the cause of some neurological issues I was having. He was able to decipher some interesting summations which have, in time following his testing, have proven to be accurate. During the proctored testing, a patient has to take the process seriously and cooperate with the techniques without question for any analysis to be valid. That's my opinion of the process. The follow-up meeting was enlightening and very helpful. Another professional, a neurologist, had completely misdiagnosed me. I thoroughly enjoyed the follow-up meeting in which he went over the multiple test results in detail with professionalism and great humor when appropriate. He gets five stars from me.

Trying so hard to be "professional" that he has lost the human part of his people skills. Quick to make semi objectionable comments ( Ie" You just need to answer my question, or we will be here all day." ) Not so much what was said as his approach feels insulting. A bit full of himself also, considering the limitations of his position....he is not a medical doctor. Phds in my experience are almost always full of something.
