Dr. Daniel Joseph Stachelski, MD

Dr. Stachelski has been my Dr for approximately 10years. I can be very Selective with Dr's for my family and I and I've never had one single complaint. He has such a warm presence and I always feel comfortable asking him questions. I never feel rushed and I've always left each visit feeling that all my questions have been answered.

I have seen Dr. Stachelski for more than 15 years. He has accurately, and astutely, diagnosed conditions in the past which other doctors have missed. Also, he is very direct in his comments and explains things clearly. He can be rushed at times, especially at appointments other than the annual exam. During the annual exam, more time is allowed for the visit and the doctor is more relaxed and conversational. I also agree with others that calling this office can be a big problem; wait times on hold are often in excess of 20 minutes. This can be difficult when you are told to call in for follow-up advice or to provide additional information. We don't always have 20 minutes free to wait on the phone. The staff has made errors in my prescriptions from time to time as well; you must be careful with follow-up. Dr. Stachelski can come across as somewhat haughty at times, and other times he can be very nice and down to earth. Overall, he is a good doctor and the practice is above… average.

Great dr if you can see him. The office staff at shorepointe is horrible. I work part time and am very flexible. I will call for a sick visit and cannot get in for over a week. By that time I am better anyways. Need to block off more time for sick visits. I am even flexible with what dr I see at this practice and it's all the same. Also if you have an appt be prepared to spend your day here. Satchelski is great but it's like pulling teeth for an appt.

Dr Stachelski has worked with me to reduce my cholesterol successfully.I never feel rushed to finish my exam, and his office staff is very personable as well

sometimes have to wait, but i leave his office confident that I am getting excellent care

This doctor is knowledgeable in many ways and has accurately diagnosed problems in the past. I agree with another reviewer who stated that the doctor comes across aloof; this is true at times. Also, the staff has mixed up prescriptions on a couple of occasions, and I've been scolded for not following directions that were never provided to me in the first place. It can also be difficult reaching a live person via telephone when calling this office. I would rate this doctor average to above-average overall, with some concerns that should be addressed.
