Dr. Daniel Stauffer

I have been a patient for 18 years at this facility, before it was even Stauffer as it was ran by Dr. Robert Roberts. As I am on routine medication with follow up, it was such a headache to receive these medications monthly. They were not on auto fill, as I had to call Pharmacy to do authorizations and follow up myself constantly with this office/Rite Aide. This was a headache. Aside from this issue, I missed 2 appointments (as I had a newborn at the time being/hectic sleepless life), I came to the third one late traveled during a snow storm with my child to make it. I also called the office staff 3x in advance on the way to let them know I’d be arriving late. As I came in, receptionist advised she would have to talk to him to see if he could see me. He denied seeing me due to s busy schedule but offered to reschedule. I was upset I shrugged my child in just to be denied with no warning as they did not answer my calls. She rescheduled me, as per Dr. Stauffer. The very next day I… receive a call from Joann (OM), that he would not like to see me anymore due to no patient relationship? To see a different provider?.. Talk about patient adandoment. I then called my insurance and St Luke’s Patient Relations to handle my complaint.

Poorly run office. Many staff members behave in a condescending manner when specific health questions are asked. You get the feeling they are doing you a very big favor by giving you the time of day. The question below of "wait time," is of no consequence. It's not a grocery line but real people with real illness, therefore, it takes time to meet the patient's needs. I certainly don't mind waiting if the staff is with a patient. Also, much of the same aloofness has been experienced and is prevalent within the St. Luke's Hospital at several campuses. I have severed all ties with St. Luke's hospitals and physicians; am now very satisfied with the care of the Lehigh Valley Hospital and their physicians groups.

Partner very sick...if she had stayed with this IDIOT she would proably be DEAD...went to ER doctors in er could not belive her treatment!~!

Been seeing Dr. Stauffer for over 21 yrs and has the best bedside manner ~~ That means the world to me as a patient ~ helped me so much with my asthma ~ Dr Stauffer makes you feel as tho he has no other patients but you~~ Takes the time to listen even when I ramble on some ~~I would highly recommend Dr Stauffer ~

DO NOT MAKE AN APPT HERE - horrible ... We were 10 minutes late and were required to reschedule. THERE WAS NO OTHER PATIENTS THERE. It was right after lunch. Guess they wanted an excuse for a longer lunch - so unprofessional. My daughter went earlier in the week - her appt was at 920am and at 1045 she still hadnt been seen. Apparently they dont abide by their policy when it comes to them. HORRIBLE Find another provider.. They dont need nor want your business.

I was appalled how I was spoken to by Mary. Very rude! No bedside courtesy.

Dr. Stauffer is a caring and intelligent doctor. He is very thorough and not prone to simply throwing meds at a patient. He actually "doctors" the patient and tries to find the best treatment for the diagnosis and for the individual.
