Dr. Daniel Maxwell Stuart, MD

Dr. Stuart is such a great doctor. He is so knowledgeable. He solved my pain medical riddle when other doctors just ignored my complaints or shrugged their shoulders. Because of his medical "detective" work, he found the cause of my pain. I had an operation and am now relatively pain free. He is a nice person too.

I used to treat with Dr.Stuart years ago as well. I have been an RSD patient for 10 years and was in my best shape under his care.I've had several other doctors since he retired and NONE of them compared to him. He unlike many others in the area takes his oaths seriously and to heart.I'm so glad he's back!!! I'm happy for those that get to be his patient as they'll have their BEST chance with HIM. He listens. He digs deeper to find solutions. He's an amazing doctor!!!! I heard he is now running a functional restoration program and I hope he puts Dr. Maywood out of practice with his awesomeness as Maywod pretends to run a functional restoration program that sent me and MANY others way back in their recovery.

I treated with Dr Stuart for about 7 years. He is an outstanding Physician. He treated me with Testosterone and Growth hormone after a major spinal injury that almost killed me. [I had gone through a roof and hit concrete 20 feet below].His innovative treatment avoided the devastating side effects of opiate pain meds and made a huge difference in my life. 'Literally life-transforming' is the best way I can describe the treatment.I have infinite respect and gratitude for Dr Stuart. He had retired 5-6 years ago, and I did not know he had returned to practice.I had been temporarily paralyzed, and had major trauma and depression when I came to Dr Stewart around 1998-9. I couldn't even look him in the eye. His treatment changed my life. I cannot find words strong enough to describe my gratitude for this Physician and the course of treatment he prescribed.He is an MD and PhD, and undoubtedly in the highest 1 or 2% of his field.Thank you, Dr Stuart.

Dr. Stuart was my Pain Mgmt Doc for a couple of years, many years ago. At that time he was spending a lot of time studying the bodies aging system or somthing along those lines and kind of taking his practice in that direction. However I'm not certain which way his practice actually went because my job was transferred to the Bay Area. He did always go out of his way to assist me in determining what was the problem and helped to prescribe me with medicine that would help the problem. After going thru five back surgeries (4 cervical fusions) and still suffering daily chronic pain in my neck & arm I was at my witts end so he really helped me to understand the Chronic Pain problem. The only real problem I had with him was that his temperment would differ from appointment to appointment. . . . I used to jokingly say that he was like "Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde".
