Dr. Daniel Bruce Takeda, MD

I was referred to Dr Takeda by a dear and trusted friend. I contacted his office two months ago to verify that he was accepting new patients and also accepted my insurance. Glad to hear the answer was yes to both these questions I booked an appointment two months out since I was traveling. The day before my appointment I drove seven hours to be in Southern California for my appointment. One hour before my appointment I received a call cancelling my appointment! I was told the doctor was no longer accepting new patients even though he was when I scheduled two months prior. I was so disappointed. I explained to a very rude office staff named Sue the circumstances that I drove a very long 7 hours and had been waiting two months for this appointment, but she couldn’t have cared less. She said it’s the doctors practice and he wants this appointment cancelled. I’m sure Dr Takeda is a good physician but this type of business practice is very disappointing.

This doctor misdiagnosed cancer saying "probably benign" without informing patient to have further testing done.

Dr. Takeda is a professional and knowledgeable doctor who displays a great bedside manner with his patients.
