Daniel Tarquinio, DO

I saw Dr. Dan Tarquinio on August 25, 2025, after spinal fusion with MRI evidence of severe bilateral foraminal stenosis at L5–S1. Instead of addressing my imaging or symptoms, he repeatedly attributed everything to stress and used notes from previous ER visits in Braselton and Gainesville to suggest my concerns were psychiatric. When I brought up Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), he said he hadn’t learned about it in medical school and questioned why I even knew the term. He advised me to stop amphetamine–dextroamphetamine cold turkey after 13 years of prescribed use—despite the known withdrawal risks—and documented a 60-minute visit in MyChart, though the appointment was about 35 minutes. I left feeling dismissed, unsafe, and misrepresented. Patients deserve accurate records, evidence-based care, and respectful communication.
