Dr. Daniel Tavari, DO

Stay VERY far away from this doctor. Tavari treated my father for a toe infection this past summer. I don't believe he read any of my Dad's medical history because his level of care was SO poor, that within 3 weeks my Dad was admitted to the hospital for gangreen and sepsis. He passed 11 days later. My Dad had poor circulation and while I asked this doctor to more aggressively treat the initial infection, my calls were unanswered and treatment remained inadequate. Please, do yourself a favor and find a new doctor immediately.

Dr. Tavari , may be a season doctor of 23 years however comes across as a doctor who does not care for senior patients. His demeanor and care is unacceptable to worried LLP and caring family members. I would recommend Dr.Tavari. M

My family and I have seen Dr tavari for years , he has always been professional and caring•i remember when I came to the Er at 2 am he came to see me at 230.i remained in the hospital for 3 weeks. . He saved my life and I will never forget that.

Dr. Tavari is a caring and kind man, he cares for his patients, some 5000 or so, and is well respected in the Thousand Oaks community. He treated both of my parents and even arranged for a very expensive medicine to help my Dad survive a low blood count emergency. Compassionate and understanding

Taking a personal phone call during caring for a patient is not acceptable.

After waiting 1/1/2 hr. When I was in the patient room; he answered his cell phone w/o being professional; telling me he needs to answer it. He was very unprofessional; wanted to do things that added costs to me. I would never go back to him. I needed to see a dr. as I was having terrible headaches. My doctor was not available. The receptionist was very helpful; as I needed to see a doctor ASAP.

I would not ever recommend this doctor. He was extremely rude and appeared incompetent during my appointment. He refused to answer my questions because he said he was running late for other appts. When I said I had waited a long time for this appt and at least wanted the results of my lab-work, he raised his voice to me and called me "an ungrateful patient for asking for so much time". I was very uncomfortable. I told him he was making me uncomfortable and asked him to leave the room. He refused to leave the room and started rushing through reading my lab results. I was in a patient robe so could not get up to leave since I wasn't dressed. After asking him to leave 3 times, I told him I would open the door and call for a nurse if he didn't leave. Needless to say, I made a report to my insurance and the medical board about this as I don't trust him to be treating patients.

Not impressed with diagnosis and helpfulness in treating my issue. Didn't even give me a physical at first new patient appointment... Scheduled it six months out and that was after waiting several weeks for a new patient appointment. Then when I did have condition acted like I was a leper.

Dr tavern is amazing. His front desk girl is so nice and willing to go the extra mile. She knows half of the patients as they walk up. And she always is smiling. And dr T is such a good dr takes his time with you and really explains what's going on. He has found/ cured a lot of my problems
