Dr vanHandle is very good about explaining current health and also possible treatments. He also is very will to listen to what I want to do, he very much includes me in the decision process concerning my treatment and explains the pros and cons of treatment options.

I was always immediately informed of changes in a polite a professional way. I wish more people these days would accept responsibillity for their own actions in such an efficient polite fashion liken to how AA teaches one to promptly admit when wrong. Refreshing. Dr. Van Handel is probably my favorite and most personal doctor I've had in decades! I drive 45 minutes just to be able to visit with him. I know that we're able to pick up where we left off and he always diffuses any anxiety surround inflammatory bowel disease and the future
