Awful experience. Saw physician's assistants for almost two years for irritation and scabbiness on my face. They finally did a biopsy (near my mouth) and diagnosed rosacea. The biopsy spot looked horrible for months. They left a message on my voice mail to give me the diagnosis. No guidance on what to do, just more pills and topicals. Do not waste your time, go to a real clinic where they have the experience and knowledge to actually help you and where you will see a real doctor.

Met with Ruth recently regarding Acne (I'm female, in my mid-20's). She was very kind and easy to talk to and really seemed to draw from all her experience and knowledge to come up with the best solution for me. She really got close to my skin and examined it to be sure what we were dealing with (other dermatologists I've been to have not been this thorough). I really felt like she's in this to help me solve the problem... this is her best guest for a first shot, and I'll got back in a few months and we'll try something else if this doesn't work. Also, I'll note that I'm very shy, and was obviously embarrassed about my skin. I think she could tell and she was very sensitive and respectful the entire time. Appreciate having the help of someone like her, and I'm hoping for the best.

Dr. Ruth Rustad was a doctor I went to because of acne. She was nice, however she basically had her hand on the doorknob the whole time trying to rush me out of the room. She spent no time with me and basically wrote a prescription and ran out of the room. If you dont have a major problem, dont even bother to go to her. You can do much better in finding a Doctor who actually cares.
