I broke my knee cap and went to the emergency room. Dr. Weglein did surgery the next day. He was so kind and did a wonderful job. I could not have asked for better results.His PA Amanda was excellent also. Sandra Miller

He refused to treat my elderly relative with a fracture. We were referred to him specifically by an ER doctor due to the nature of the fracture. He and his staff didn't care and we're unwilling to help. She is still in extreme pain and at a loss of what to do. Terrible customer service and unacceptable lack of care.

I feel Dr Weglein is a great doctor and surgeon. He was very patient with my 92-year-old mother, giving her humerus ample time to heal on its own before recommending surgery. I felt his bedside and office manner was very good, he was very kind to my mom and she always felt better after seeing him.

When other doctors where insisting on surgery, Dr. Weglein recommend no surgery with the proper prescribed after care. I recovered well and had no surgery. Dr Weglein is a very busy surgeon but an exceptional professional doctor.

Excellent doctor, prevent surgery

Met with Dr Weglin 21Dec. He was VERY POSITIVE ABOUT PATIENT CARE AND REMOVING OFFICE PROTOCOL IMPEDIMENTS. i actually believe he will fix his office issues. Good post surgery conversation. Much more positive about him than previous review. My leg structurally sound.

I'll know a few years if repair done properly. Today doing ok and appears stable on compound fracture repair. Office more interested in their computer system and move to new Southlake office. Trying to coordinate possible brain surgery and get clearance from Weglin never resolved. You were told their dates were on choice for follow up, very restritive. Nurse Amanda did return calls but never got to doctor for solution. I think patient follow up care is not very high on his list. Almost fills like distraction from surgery. Will see if I fill different after I actually meet doctor on 21Dec.

I had trauma surgery for a compound break in my femur. Because I was an ER patient and needed immediate trauma surgery, I had no say in who performed my surgery. Dr. Weglein spoke less than five minutes with me prior to surgery and actually told me that I needed surgery on my patella instead of my knee. After my surgery he never came to check on me even though I was in the hospital almost a week and was dismissive to my family in the ER waiting area advising them it was late and he needed to go home and would speak with them the next day even though he never saw me in the hospital. I had an appointment with him the week after discharge and was non-weight bearing and in a wheelchair. After waiting over an hour with a room crammed full of other patients, I inquired as to how long the wait was going to be and was advised his staff had been trying to reach him for 2 1/2 hours and had no idea where he was because he had not responded. I left as did multiple other patients and found another… physician.

I was in ER from a fall & stayed 4 days. I had a broken pinkie finger was xrayed and wrapped in a splint. Dr Daniel Wegleib came to the room all of 3mins said looks ok with what they did and gave his card and said I'll see you in 6 weeks. I went to another orthopedic Jand he said WHY DIDNT THEY SET IT. He was contemplated surgery but at this stage taped the 2 fingers. I'm complaining on the lack of urgency by Dr Weglin to come closer to at least see it better while I was in the hospital and better yet look at the X-rays. Not very caring
