This dr is the best doctor that exists on the planet earth! I was hit by a car as a pedestrian in 2015. Months hands to him I walk and talk again , go to the gym , almost everything is back to normal . I have alot of screws and metal , and over ten years later im doing ok ! I need to have him check my leg because I had some screwed removed and it’s not the same since! I wanna go back to see him to make sure everything is truly ok because it’s starting to feel weird , he is the only one I really trust Because he is the best surgeon in Southern California! Maybe even the world !!! He’s no joke ! The # 1

I broke my right wrist horribly and needed a trauma specialist. Referred to Dr. Zinar and I’m very lucky to have had him surgically work on my wrist. Impeccable work and truly thankful to have Dr. Zinar save my wrist. I don’t feel the plate and screws running down inside my wrist. Excellent staff in the Torrance office. Thank you Dr. Zinar!!! M.T. Dr. Zinar was an excellent surgeon (5 stars for sure), but his Long Beach office staff were horrible; they were the worst I've ever experienced. In addition, the Long Beach office is in a really old building in an industrial area of Long Beach. The office is really small and very old!!! Clock battery on the wall died and it stayed like that for months. Makes you wonder about what else isn't being maintained. Lazy staff in my opinion. Their paperwork is something from the 70's - kind of like the building with misspellings and bad grammar. No customer service at all!!!!!! For example, I called for assistance with a prescription after surgery and going homeand had to end up going to urgent care for my pain because they couldn't help me until the doctor was back in the office (4 days later). You can't call the doctor or his PA??? When you're in pain, you don't want to wait 4 days. Then, they couldn't call a pharmacy like most modern medical facilities. I had to have my husband drive to… their office to pick up the prescription (30 minute drive). When I needed paperwork filled out (simple paperwork), they gave me a hard time about it and charged me $20 to write a few sentences and get the doctor's signature. Is the surgeon that hard up for cash that they have to charge $20 to sign a form??? I wouldn't go back to Dr. Zinar just based off of very unfriendly and unprofessional staff.

I had a mountain biking accident and had multiple fractures in both wrists. Luckily Dr Zinar was coming in the next morning to operate at Torrance Memorial and I was able to get on his schedule. I am having a good recovery. He and his office has been great with their care and service along with my disability paperwork. I really appreciate all their help in this traumatic period for me so I can get back to my life and my job. Thank you again !

I had a terrible accident - open fracture of my ankle an emergency doctor did surgery. Developed a bad infection and no help from the 1st doctor. Dr. Zinar came on board to clean up the mess the previous doctor had done - it has been a year and still not fully recovered, but I feel that if it wasn't for Dr. Zinar's intervention, I would have lost my foot.

Dr ZINAR RESTORED my ability to walk again I was in a Terrible MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT BROKEN PELVIS BROKEN HIP Dr ZINAR was my TRAUMA SURGEON I owe him my life he is the best you will find there is non better I would not be able to walk if not for Dr ZINAR God bless him

While running, i was hit by a car, fracturing my left arm and mangling my right foot. Since surgery, i have returned to running, including marathons. Thanks to Dr Zinar.

Dr. Zinar was my first ortho referral after breaking my wrist. Never breaking a bone in my life before, I was quite nervous, but he was an excellent surgeon and explained everything that was going on with my wrist.His office staff is exceptional and pleasant to talk with as well.I would reccomend him.

AS A PRACTICING NURSE OF 35 YEARS THIS IS THE PERSON i WOULD GO TO. hE ACCEPTS AND SUCCESSFULLY HANDELS COMPLEX CASES THAT OTHER ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS ARE AFRAID TO TOUCH.

He is my first doctor outside of my family physician, pediatrician and optometrist. He did surgery on my broken humerus ulna and radius and the follow up appointments were not too bad to go through. I've heard multiple times as I waited in the waiting room that he's a excellent doctor and though he is a busy man, he's great at what he does. Sometimes he gets stuck in surgeries and isn't able to make it to scheduled appointments on time but knowing that I have a great doctor is worth it. He's nice and the staff is great too. He knows what he's doing and he's in demand for his skills in surgery, so keep in mind that his time is very valuable even though I feel that he does his job completely in the time he spends with you. I would definitely recommend him but try not to schedule appointments early morning because he may be held up in surgery and you'd have to wait quite a while.
