Dr. Daniela Camelia Drosu, MD

I don't usually write reviews but had to do it this time. I know Dr. Drosu for a very long time and her credentials are without any doubt excellent. She saved my grand mother's life and it is very unfair that some people made such mean comments about her. She is a very very good doctor.

The worst experience ever. Doctor was late. Spent two minutes in my hospital room. Did not ask me any questions about my symptoms or medical history. Only task she performed was to check my breathing with the stethoscope. She did not explain any of the lab results from the several cardiopulmonary tests taken in the past two days at the hospital. Suggested I make an appointment to meet with the cardiologist at her office when I get checked out of the hospital. I will need to make another appointment with a different doctor at a different medical facility to review the tests taken by Seton NW once I receive a copy of my medical records from this visit. In my opinion she does not seem qualified to practice at a hospital. She would be better suited to practice medicine at a MediClinic as medical assistant. I also had the misfortune to have her as the doctor on call. Her credentials seem questionable. Her internship and residency was at 'Carol Davila' University of… Medicine and Pharmacy School of General Medicine, Bucharest, Romania. Everyone else at Seton NW was courteous and prompt with service and care.

My daughter was admitted to seton hospital in Austin with blood clots in her lungs on a saturday. I didn't find out til the next day that she was in the hospital, and she told me she had a miserable night because the pain was so bad. Both she and her husband tried several times to get more pain medicine, but this uncaring person would not only NOT give her more pain relief, she wouldn't even come to her room. I am filing a formal complaint with the American Hospital Association.
