. . . If you get Dr. Shafer when you need her. I was lucky. She saved my life. If it can be done, she will get you through whatever you’re dealing with. If it cannot, she will be by your side every step of the way, with a smile. I cannot give enough stars to this doctor and human being. Be well.

She is always thinking what could be done better. He is working somewhere else by now. When I come to her medical center I feel sad not to see her anymore. Such a nice person....I would give her top rating in every category.

Excellent, professional, compassionate doctor. Treated me to real positive results that surprised me - I was loosing hopes after at least 5 years of exhausting illness.

Dr. Shafer is professional, yet personal. She is sensitive to each and every issue one might have. She listens intently and gives you answers you can understand. She isn't afraid to tell you if she doesn't have an answer. She sincerely cares about your particular problem. She takes as much time as is necessary to help you understand what you need to do and is available for questions you might have between office appointments. I could never rate her too highly or recommend anyone who is superior to her in her personal manner and her medical care. She is the BEST!

Dr. Shafer is probably one of the best Doctors I have ever needed to help me. I was diagnosed correctly and in a judicious manner. She always takes time to listen. She is careful to follow up on any of a number of issues. She never rushes a patient or gives you the feeling she is in a hurry. She cares deeply about your particular case. My only complaint is that she is a specialist. I would like her for my Family Care Doctor. She is the BEST all around Doctor anyone could ever want. I have NEVER had a complaint about her in almost two years of care - chemotherapy, etc.

She has been very helpful since my diagnosis of CML, and is always pleasant to visit. My wait time is unbelievable, never wait more than 5 minutes to get in to a room. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good doctor.
