Wouldn't Recommend Her to My Worst Enemy

Dr Shiller is incredible, marvelous, magnificent and the list goes on and on for any other excellent thing that can be said. She really cares about her patients , and explained everything in great detail in ref to my surgery (full hysterectomy) which was done robotically. I have had a few surgeries in the past (not by Dr. Shiller), but never one where there was absolutely no pain afterwards. Weeks before the surgery Dr. Shiller told me there would be minimal pain with the robotic surgery, and in my mind it was hard to believe. But now I can say with great conviction, I had absolutely no pain, and never took a pain pill from the time I woke up after surgery to this day, which is a little less than a month later. I went to the movies three day after my surgery. I highly highly recommend Dr, Shiller, she changed my life for the better.

Wow I think Dr Shiller is incredible. I see she has some negative reviews and I am surprised. I'm sorry that some have had a bad experience with her but I love the way she cares for me, and I trust her knowledge and treatment 100%.I would recommend her for sure.

Dr. Shiller helped me after FOUR other gyns couldn't figure me out. She is a superb diagnostician, and I love the way she treats me. I would recommend her without hesitation!

This doctor is overbooked I waited over an hour for The doctor to see me. When she was available she did not listen to me nor does she care about my concerns. I do not recommend her she is terrible and not flexible nor is she abreast of the latest medicine to treat patient she told me the medicine I asked for was experimental and in fact it’s not I’ve been prescribed it several times don’t waste your time at her office.

It's taken me years to over come the trauma of seeing this doctor as a teenage girl. On my first visit with her she diagnosed me with PCOS. She didn't do any actual test, I'm sure she just saw I was a fat and knew I had painful period cramps and that was enough for her. She told me it was incredibly likely that I would never be able to have children. What a thing to hear and 17. What a thing to say without any medical confirmation. In that same appointment she insisted that I must not be a virgin because my hymen had been disturbed. Whether I was or wasn't my even a lay person knows a disturbed hymen doesn't necessarily mean a girl/woman has had intercourse or is even sexual active at all. She then bullied me into taking yaz. She said I needed to take it because of the PCOS. So I stared taking it. I had been on it for a bit over a year before I realized it was responsible to my erratic behavior a depression. I'd stopped taking it on my own after I found out. We'd had a follow up… and she asked me if I was still taking the yaz. I explained that I'd stopped because it made me "act crazy and feel bad all the time"-my 19 year old explanation of things. She then insisted, bullied, and fear mongered me back into taking it. She didn't even listen to any of my concerns about my mood or behavior. I was away at college at the time and the medicine really impacted my behavior, feelings, and relationships in ways that I wish it hadn't at such a pivotal time for me. I was on the pill for a total of about 3 years. I was devoured by that medication and the frustration and shame of my PCOS diagnoses. She had sense moved her practice and that was a good move for me. A bit after I'd stopped the yaz. About 3 years after I'd stopped I went to a real doctor (one who does tests to verify speculations). She'd confirmed for me that did not have PCOS. Because I had received that hard diagnoses so early it had become part of identity. I still believed that I probably wouldn't experience pregnancy. My recent-untried for-pregnancy proved that I can actually conceive quite easily. This review included much of personal story. Dr. Shiller is bad medicine. But I don't think it's enough to just make that claim. Her poor practices have affected my life for years, even years after I'd stopped seeing her. She gave me a wrong and unfounded diagnoses, that was bad. But even worse, she didn't listen to my concerns as a patient. She didn't listen to my struggles with her treatment and instead pushed her agenda. Because of my experience with Dr. Shiller I learned a lot about my role as patient and the importance of being an advocate for myself and cutting ties when necessary. If you feel like your doctor should be a partner and an ally to your health Dr.Shiller isn't the doctor for you. If you want an accurate diagnoses she also probably isn't the doctor for you.

Dr Shiller is always available for me no matter the day or time and she always try's her hardest to make me feel better She cares about her patients.

Dr. Shiller is very good at explaining the diagnosis, but is very difficult to get the prescription. I had to call it in 4 times before finally getting the pills. The next time that I visited her, she gave me the wrong prescription.
