Dr. Danmeng Wei, MD

Unfortunately, I will not be seeing this doctor again and will be requesting a different provider. I initially saw her about a year ago and left that appointment feeling dismissed, which I expressed at the time. Recently, I’ve developed new and concerning symptoms, and multiple other doctors advised me to return to her for evaluation. Some of these new symptoms include: Persistent tingling down my left arm into my hand Weakness in the arm Complete and consistent numbness in my left big toe Tingling in other toes Noticeable cognitive decline, When I described these symptoms, her response was, “Worrying about these things makes them worse.” I replied, “I’m simply sharing the symptoms that are making me increasingly uncomfortable.” She then said, “Would you like me to refer you to a counselor?” I left the appointment feeling gaslit and deeply confused. These are neurological concerns, and I was hoping for a thoughtful evaluation—not a dismissal framed in mental health
