My fiance and I went for couples counseling to improve our relationship and build healthier dynamics. Within 40 minutes of our very first appointment, Daphne expressed her opinions in extreme and discouraging statements which were unprofessional for a psychologist to state. She told us blanket statements like we had no love for one another, that we lacked foundation more than any patients in "her 37 years of practice," etc. Her reasoning when pressed was "our body language." I work in the medical community and would strongly discourage a patient from seeing her. It is important to have a balanced psychologist who advises rationally and cautiously after building a rapport with her patients over time. My hunch is she thinks she is a clairvoyant or mind reader and recklessly advises her patients with baseless feelings and opinions.
