Call for appointment availabilityI am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor. It is my passion to work with patients in recovery. I worked with patients in Milwaukee County for 5 1/2 years as a Recovery Support Coordinator. Supporting them through early sobriety, processing past trauma, and assisting them with finding hope in sobriety. I also worked for two years in a substance abuse PHP program supporting patients early in recovery gaining the skills necessary to gain sobriety and process MH concerns. I have been providing outpatient therapy at MCW since June 2023 to patients with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. I enjoy working with patients to support them with gaining effective skills, resources, understanding, and a supportive network to build long-term stability and confidence that produces joy.I appreciate assisting patients with navigating through life experiences with both mental health and substance abuse concerns. I enjoy processing past …and present experiences and supporting patients with examining any root causes of disruption in peace. I provide compassion and empathy to patients in the process of therapy while implementing therapeutic techniques to support with progress. I assist patients with seeking hope, strength, understanding, and peace. I believe that there is healing that occurs in therapy. I realize that healing and growing is a process and provide a safe environment for patients to work through life experiences and grow.
