Dr. Dareen Khalaf is the principal physician and the CEO of Quick Stop Urgent Care in Pasadena, CA. I saw her today for allergic bronchitis. A lifetime of suffering from allergies, asthma, hay fever, and eczema has led me to expect tentative diagnostic behavior from physicians. Dr. Khalaf diagnosed my allergic bronchitis, ordered a chest X ray because of the possibility of bronchial pneumonia. Had her assistant deliver a cortisone shot and nebulizer treatment. Further, she wrote 4 prescriptions including the recommended anti-biotic for bronchitis. Dr. Khalaf not only referred me to a pulmonologist, but made the appointment for the next day! She asked me to return if I had any shortness of breath and to be sure the medications were addressing the problem. The facility itself is very clean, specific parking places are available for urgent care patients, and the computerized check-in is state of the art! The physician and facility are superb.
