It was great being back with Dr. Eckert after being away for a year. An insurance change caused the disruption. I didn't feel rushed and am grateful for his attentive demeaner and the time he took for me. It was like "old home week".

Dr. Eckert is always kind and genuinely concerned about my care. I always appreciate the time he spends with me. He explains things well, as he problem solves with me about my health care needs. I always leave feeling like we have a good plan in place to support my health. He is a role model for what all physicians should bekind, patient, positive and supportive while caring for their patients. He also has great knowledge that he uses to problem solve how best to care for his patients. He keeps up on current medical practices and information that is ever changing, as well.

Dr. Eckert always takes time to clearly explain things. He never makes you feel like he is rushing to get out the door to the next patient. Very personable.

Friendly, personable man with a plan I think may be formed out of thin air as it seems he does not listen well. He questioned patient's accuracy about two BP medications (one of his specialty areas) only to have to admit patient was correct. Can't trust this doctor to provide pain relief as he seems markedly adverse to prescribing Vicodin even refusing to order such diagnostic tests which would validate pain medication need. He prescribed neurontin, instead which besides being an ineffective drug is also on with an incredible listing of significant side-effects. Perhaps he might consider taking the cotton out of his ears and put it in his mouth.
