Dr. Darla J Broderick-Breit, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Broderick-Breit for 2 years and I have called asking for an appt for stomach pain and been refused, with her staff saying based on my symptoms she doesn't think I need to be seen (she has never called me back). Most recently I requested an Ophthalmology referral at the advice of an urgent care doctor and again I was refused with her staff telling me I had an eye infection and the Dr (without seeing or speaking to me) didn't see a need for a specialist referral. I ended up having to go to the emergency room and thank goodness I did because I was diagnosed with an emergency eye condition that if left untreated could have caused blindness!

She is the only doctor I have seen that understands my pain. I feel like a patient and not a client.

My HMO moved me to another office and I am sorry to no longer be a patient here. I thought the staff and the doctor were great. I would like to thank them for the exceptional service.

Excellent staff and doctor. If I moved out of area I would still make the trip to see this doctor and staff. Excellent.

getting an appoinment when you are not scheluded is difficult

I felt as if the nurses were passing the buck on my calls. I needed results from biopsy yet no one could find them for months....nor any info as to where THEY sent me for it. I had to do all the leg work i.e. making copies of where they sent me and the dates I had biopsy done. I mailed it all to doctors office...still no one had a clue where they were. I then made more copies & HAND delivered them and again...when I called, they were clueless. Finally they find them so I make my own appointment with GYN, all they needed to do was fax over my info which they told me they did, yet the day of my appointment they still hadn't faxed a thing. I HAD to call again. All this went on for months. I have no qualms on Dr. Broderick , I felt she spent time & concern with me.

She is rude and incompetent. This includes the staff. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Broderick for a long time. I have had nothing but good experiences with her and the entire staff. At times I have been quite a handful and the staff has always treated with respect and concern. I would recommend this Dr. and office to anyone . i

Simply the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. The staff is incompetent with appointments and paperwork. The doctor is rude. She walked out of my appointment. Literally got up and left because she didn't like the questions I was asking. Steer clear! She clearly doesn't like her job, or her patients, and it shows. The one shining light in that office is the nurse practitioner.

This doctor is rude, does not listen to her patients, and gets insulted if a patient asks questions. She has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever had the misfortune to meet.
