Dr. Darlene Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson is simply outstanding. My Moh's surgery was complex and she managed it with tremendous expertise. She kept me well informed along the way and was available for questions afterwards. I will certainly seek her out for any future surgeries.

I thought I was doing the right thing with having a skin rash checked out. Initially everything went well. Dr Johnson seemed nice and talked as if she were competent. She completed a biopsy. All good. I called the office 3 weeks later since I had not heard back from her. The RECEPTIONIST looked in my chart and told me I had cancer. When I asked to talk with Dr Johnson, she said she was too busy. When Dr Johnson finally called me two days later she agreed with the diagnosis and stated it was fine that her receptionist gave me the diagnosis since it was accurate then referred me to an oncologist for treatment. I have MUCH higher expectations of professionals.

Had an appointment scheduled and the office had called the day of the appointment to see if I could make it earlier. I did make that work although that was additional time off of work to request. I then showed up and found that the reason was there was a snowstorm due to come in and Dr. Johnson wanted to beat the storm. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes until I was seen. Once she saw me, she was very quick and gave me two options to take care of my skin and I chose a cream which required a subscription. She then asked if I needed a "once over" to check for moles etc. Since I paid $100 for this visit of 5 minutes, I thought I would take advantage of that. Therefore, my $100 paid for 10 minutes of her time AND come to find out, a prescription was NEVER even called into my pharmacy as requested. Kind of questionable as to whether she was accurate with her diagnosis or not, however I don't have $100 bills to throw into the wind. Not quite sure what kind of an outfit you are all… running?
