Darlene Joy Merritt

Darlene Merritt had me on 7 medications at one point. She shared personal information about me to one of the 18 year old university pharmacist who told me this before she graduated. I ended up slipping into a coma from too much low blood pressure medication she had me on along with 2 stimulants, 2 SSRI, benzodiazepines and a sedative. I lacked the motivation to sue her because I didn’t have the emotional energy. It took me 3 years to get off all of these medications. I’m not one to skirt responsibility but at the same time she should know better. No one should be on that many medication‘s, especially mixing several types of controlled substances and her response should not constantly be to give people whatever they inquire about. I was inquiring about different medication’s and whether or not they would be a good fit and it’s up to her determine what should and should not be mixed with one another. In a town where Mental Health needs to vastly improved, Darlene is at the bottom of the… list. I hope she realizes what damage she’s done to me and my family. On top of all the medication’s she also never filled out my paperwork for my disability for a traumatic brain disorder which made my workplace very hostile. I was there for almost 2 decades without incident, and in fact, scored exceptional reviews and then when I contracted an infectious disease and was in a coma and came out of it, she didn’t do the proper diligence. I asked her often off for six months to take care of this and she never did. I had to rely on my therapist to do so. If you’re a patient of hers don’t be fooled sometimes incompetence comes with a smile.
