Had a tonsillectomy and turbinate reduction from Dr. Smith. Great experience from start to finish. Dr Smith addressed all of my concerns and answered my questions. Post surgery, I struggled in recovery but Dr Smith and Tracy were very responsive and helpful to get me through. They took multiple phone calls from and helped get my meds dialed in. Their help made the recovery experience as positive as it could be. I would highly recommend Dr Smith and his team. Very friendly, but also focused on the goals at hand.

I am a lifelong sufferer of Meniere's disease w/other auditory complications. I recently moved into the area from the Triangle where all my doctors are. A few days ago I suffered a severe and sudden loss of total hearing. Dr. Smith agreed to see me on an emergency basis. From reception to audiology, nursing to Dr. Smith himself, the is a wonderful practice of caring and feeling people! I have since had all my records transferred to Dr. Smith. Needless to say, my highest recommendation to him and his staff!

Outstanding service from start to finish. I had an emergency situation and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to work me in the same day. She treated everyone there exceptionally will and with utmost kindness. Dr Smith was phenomenal. He had me all taken care of very quickly. I highly recommend to anyone.

After years of chronic sinusitis, another local ENT sinus surgery that didn't work, being told allergic to almost everything and to live on Flonase (which did nothing), I was considering surgery yet again, talked to Dr. Smith on & off for a year or 2, and then recv'd the email about this procedure. Dr. Smith performed in the office (after his staff confirmed all through insurance, love them). It was a little more involved than I thought, both the procedure and downtime, but WOW, what a difference in my life! 4 months later I am breathing through my right side and don't wake up in the night completely clogged. And the pollen didn't even bother me this year! He's a wonderful sinus DR who wants to help you find relief. I highly recommend him and his office.

I had sinus surgery with Dr. Smith and he did an amazing job. I am finally able to breathe out of my nose after years of struggling. He was very thorough and always took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He and his staff were so kind and put my mind at ease during this process. I highly recommend!

After suffering from what presented as allergies for months, Dr. Smith properly diagnosed me with LPR which even my Gastroenterologist failed to do. I now have a correct diagnosis and can take the proper steps to gain the relief I have been seeking. Thank you, Dr. Smith!

After seeing two other doctors who provided no real diagnosis, I was feeling anxious and worried as my throat symptoms continued. Through my own research, I suspected Laryngopharangeal Reflux (LPR), and was hoping to find an ENT in Charlotte who offers TNE (Transnasal Esophagoscopy—which is easier, faster, and less expensive than an endoscopy). Another doctor...actually, his nurse, since I couldn't even get an appointment with the doc...had recommended an endoscopy in order to diagnose, which is hundreds of dollars more, requires sedation, time off of work, and a ride home. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I discovered Dr. Smith could do the TNE, which he did on the spot in my first ever visit with him. It was painless and fast, and Dr. Smith confirmed that I had treatable LPR and mild inflammation. I felt like a weight had been lifted off of me finally knowing what I was dealing with, and that it wasn't a severe as I'd thought. Not only did I find a doctor who leverages modern… technology to get to the root of the problem, he is not in one of those local medical conglomerates, so his fee was reasonable and affordable. I'm going to recommend him to everyone!

Dr Smith and his staff have been fantastic with my little girl ... she was just about 18 months when she had tubes put in her ears. Recently, at four years old we have returned for treatment for nosebleeds. Dr Smith has pulled three frogs out of her ears so far, and it doesn't seem to get old. He has such a good way with little kids!
