I was there for a follow up from my surgery on my right foot. I'm not sure if I answered the questions correctly, but Dr. Collins is without a doubt, an excellent surgeon and has great patience relationship skills.

I went to see Dr. Collins because of a ingrown toenail and also because my toe was turning colors. He was able to diagnose that I had a vascular issue and I just got out of the hospital today because I had a blockage doctor Collins you might say save my life

Dr. Collins was, without question, the best healthcare provider I've interacted with in my significant medical history. From the start, when he made a point to introduce himself and his pronouns, and ask me for mine - something no other provider has EVER done - he showed care and respect for me as a patient. I am autistic, and was experiencing a great deal of anxiety, especially as we got closer to when he needed to drain the abcess on my foot, but he communicated very clearly, explaining patiently what was going on, what he was going to do, and what he expected to result. He engaged me in conversation to help manage my anxiety during the procedure, and was very mindful of my physical comfort as he worked on a spot that had been causing me tremendous pain. He was comminicative, professional, compassionate, and displayed care for my well-being - which are exactly the traits one associates with the ideal of what a doctor should be like. I cannot possibly compliment Dr. Collins enough.… Not only did he fix the (agonizing) problem quickly and painlessly, he was genuinely decent to me in ways I hadn't necessarily realized I just don't experience from medical staff most days.

Dr Collins rates in the top 10 of Doctors I have seen in the past 10 years. He is excellent in explaining and understanding what an 80 year old male with diabetic foot problems should do to heal a recurring wound.Thanks!
