TL;DR: She will likely ghost you. I recommend finding another provider. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review for a medical professional. I don’t take that lightly—but I feel a responsibility to warn others, especially those seeking psychiatric care, about my experience with Dr. T. During our initial interview, she asked what I needed most from her as a psychiatrist. I told her, clearly and emphatically: reliability. That was my top priority. At first, things seemed to go well—we had a few appointments, and I began tapering off a psychiatric medication under her guidance. Then, without warning, she simply didn’t show up to our scheduled follow-up. No notice, no explanation. I texted her at the number she had previously provided and used to respond from—but received nothing in return. Later that same day, I saw she was active on Headway, yet still no reply. No follow-up message. No rescheduling attempt. Just silence. I was left mid-taper, without support, and have since… been struggling with a very difficult withdrawal experience. It’s disorienting and frightening to be in that position—especially when you thought you had a professional looking out for you. I don’t care how impressive her résumé might be. What matters is whether a provider shows up for the people who trust them. In my case, Dr. T did not. Please consider seeking care elsewhere.
