Amazing

Was recommended to Dr. Wier several years ago for gall bladdar surgery. Being from NYC I checked his credentials carefully. I felt secure having him operate on me. He was great. All went well and knew he was very skilled in the operating room. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I returned to Dr. Wier to do a lumpectomy. Again I felt confident he was more than qualified. The surgery went well. My oncologyst was impressed as well. That was 6 years ago. I have recommended him to my daughter who has gall bladdar surgery with Dr. Wier. All went well, as I expected. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.

I was referred for minor procedure which almost cost me $2200 even after having insurance. After procedure I got a bill for Lab test that was never mentioned to me, on top of that he decided to send the sample to the most expensive Lab. They also send me bill claiming full amount for the procedure, when I called back stating that claim summary by insurance shows lot less, they acted like print error.

I was referred to his office for a minor procedure. He was knowledgeable, caring, and we had a general conversation during the procedure. I received a prompt appt., front receptionist could be nicer and his nurse who helped during my procedure seemed rude and inconvenienced, but the Dr. was great.

Receptionist was very rude...I wanted to set up an appointment AND pay for the Dr.'s time to see if an additional surgery would be necessary in my situation. Was informed I must attend a seminar. Believe me, I already KNOW about bariatric surgery, I have had mine since the mid 90's. I need his opinion..not the sales job!

Dr. Wier submitted to my insurance company, without my consent, for a procedure I made very clear I was not willing to have. After finally submitting for the correct surgery, and being approved by my insurance, surgery was scheduled. I made arrangements for when I would be recovering, that included taking time off from work, and buying a plane ticket for my mother who would come to help me recover. A few days later I get a call from the office saying that he changed his mind and would not be performing lap band surgery, he would only be willing to perform the sleeve (which my insurance denied because my BMI is not high enough). I've now had to quickly find another doctor who is able to pick up the mess Dr. Wier left behind. I recommend Dr. Beltre in Altamonte Springs.

Dr. Wier and his entire staff were great!! I really felt that they were concerned for my overall well being.

Very skilled, friendly and caring.

Smart Dr. very impressive, just no emotion to care.
