Dr. David A. Tessler, DO, FACG, FACOI

Prescribed a third anti depressant without an appt, to try to address a month log lower gi issue.

Let’s see, first of all Doctor Tessler is Awful. He talks down to his patient and their family. He doesn’t even do the nasal tube or G J tube procedure himself. He can’t even get the orders right when he refers you to the hospital or home care company !!!!!. Tessler him self and his nurse Kimmie does not follow through with orders for hospital procedures. Tessler forgets to sign orders that have to be referred by him to get a procedure done at the hospital!!! Lots of confusion between hospital orders on what procedure to do it’s just unbelievable. I had to call the hospital four times to get it right . Now the home health care nurses calls me and tells me three different time they haven’t received any orders for nutritional food and supplies so she can eat through her GJ tube and so they can show us how to keep her GJ Tube clean and how to take care of it!!!!!!! When they had over a month to do so !!!!!!! I don’t know how anyone , let alone a doctor or a nurse can be so… irresponsible with a patient’s care that hasn’t been able to eat anything in over a month . They just don’t care or have any empathy for their patient . So if anyone out there who needs help, please DO NOT GO to this so called Doctor Tessler and nurse Kimmie they are Irresponsible in every way just AWFUL awful awful awful awful !!!!!!!!! I hope this helps someone out there that is going through Gastroparesis. Stay away from this office . They will always blame you for everything they do wrong.

If you have severe gastroparesis DO NOT GO TO DAVID TESSLER!! We went in to see him and all he did was try to scare me into doing whatever he thought was best and belittled you at every turn. Not to mention if you do stand up and ask questions about your care he will get defensive and offended that you dont agree with him. I had a GJ tube placed because I lost 40 pounds in a month and couldn't keep down food and it took him 3 weeks to get it right as my health continued to get worse. I was passing out, shaky, dehydrated, vomiting nonstop, and overall weak. We keep calling his office and they showed no empathy or that they even cared for my health at all. Now let me get started on my after care, I found out that a feeding tube WAS NOT my only option, there are motility clinics and other things we could have tried before the tube phase...I'm only 20 years old now I'm tethered to a feeding tube because he doesnt know what he is doing..but no tessler thinks he is always right and pressured… me and told me that it was my only option to live..PLEASE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH DO NOT SEE DR. TESSLER HE WILL MAKE YOU DO UNNECESSARY SURGERY OR PROCEDURES WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT ELSE IS OUT THERE FOR YOU...he isnt caught up with all the new G.I. clinics, meds, or procedures or if he is he doesnt care to use them, it's his way or the highway..JUST RUN AWAY IS THE ONLY ADVICE I COULD GIVE TO HIS CURRENT PATIENTS AND TO ANYONE THINKING OF SEEING HIM..

Due to his tests and placement with a great surgeon, I have a new lease on life. He has a wonderful bed-side manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tessler almost since he arrived in Arizona. My first meeting was concerning some pain I was having in my abdomen and he examined me and wanted to do a colonoscopy. After I left and returned to work my wife called and said "Dr. Tessler just called with a prescription for your pain" and I said "Good". She came back with " You don't understand, it was the Doctor himself who called!" WOW. That had NEVER happened before, it was always someone else calling. That has been a few years back and his concern for his patients has not waned. I have recommended him to my closest friends and family with complete confidence. A very great Doctor.

I have been to a couple of G.I. Specialists, and several other doctors over the last few years. By Far, Dr. Tessler is the best. The staff is knowledgeable about my case when I come in. They are very pleasant, efficient, and considerate. Dr. Tessler is a professional, that also has a terrific bedside manner. Always makes me feel comfortable and in very capable hands. Holly and Kimiko are absolutely the best !!

The doctor is a great man. He is worth your health.
