Dr Atkins is a very caring doctor. If you have to be ill or need an excellent physician, he is highly recommended. He makes sure you understand why you are sitting in his office, why you are taking a test and the next steps upon the results of the test. You are an integral part of the process. He recently went to bat for me with my insurance company for tests which I definitely needed. The outcome of the tests indicated I required medical care immediately. Again, if you have to seek out an oncologist, you would be fortunate to end up in his office. He cares about his patients and that they receive the best care he can provide.
