Excellent professional service, careful and thoughtful practitioner.

The most incompetent unethical therapist ive ever seen. I sued his practice and won. Unfortunately he has been able to hold on to his license and continues to practice. Don't be fooled by his "nice guy" demeanor. This man is a danger.

This man is a psycho. Fake nice guy personally, completely incompetent and unethical. I sued him and won but he kept his license. Stay far away.

The most incompetent and unethical therapist i have ever seen. I sued his practice and won. Unfortunately he managed to hold on to his license and is still treating patients with no oversight. Dont be fooled by his nice guy persona. This man should not be practicing. He is a danger.

I was a patient in the same program with the person who wrote the previous 3 one-star reviews. I know them personally. This was in hospital based program for the intensive treatment of personality disorders. Please understand the context and source of these misplaced "reviews" before making any negative judgments about Dr. Banthin. He is revered by the vast majority of his patience because of his depth of knowledge and experience and his very very very caring approach to individualized treatment. It's rare to find someone with his level of education and credentials. When I first met Dr. Banthin, I was in such a dark place that I did not believe I was going to be on this planet for much longer. Here I am over 4 years later and that's mostly due to my time with Dr. Banthin. I now have the tools to deal with situations as they come along in a healthy manner having tools and understandings of things that I never had before.

I saw David Banthin for 9 months and boy did he mess up my head. He should not be allowed to treat patients without supervision. He thinks he’s Freud.

Dr. Banthin treats his patients like guinea pigs or specimens in a study. He is more interested in talking about himself than connecting with you.

Dr. Banthin's uncaring and remote manner does more harm than good. He does not care about his patient's feelings. Even if you are crying and highly distraught at the end of the session he will make you leave.

Dr. Banthin is a talented, perceptive, compassionate, thoughtful psychologist. He seems to genuinely love what he does and is really good at it. He pushes me but is still sensitive and kind and it is already helping me understand myself and how I can do better.
