Dr. David Clarence Bell, MD

I started as a patient of Dr Bell in 1988. He has performed 1 surgical procedure on me. I absolutely love the man! Very professional, kind and informative.

Simply a wonderful, caring, smart doctor. No-one better

I've been a patient with Dr. Donald Bryan, until his retirement . This was my first visit with Dr. David Bell. I was very impressed with him, he took his time with me and made me feel like I was his only patient.

Dr. Bell is truly an amazing doctor! He has delivered both of my children. He is a very caring and genuine person not to mention a brilliant doctor. He takes his time to thoroughly explain everything to you. He actually saved my son's life when he was born because the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck at birth and Dr. Bell knew that his vitals were going down and made the decision to have me deliver early and then quickly got the cord off of his neck which was not easy because it was wrapped several times around. Not only is Dr. Bell well educated, but you can tell right away that he really loves his job and is in that field for the right reasons! On top of loving Dr. Bell, the Kingsdale practice is awesome too!

I was a patient of Dr Bell for over 20 years but had to switch. He lectured me for 5 minutes, not kidding, when I asked a question about a problem he was treating me for. He went on about how he is a board certified doc etc., and (basically) how dare I question him? I was shocked because I wanted to understand what was going on with me. I wrote it off to a bad day, but went back a year later because another doc thought something was out of line. Dr Bell examined me and the said "you have put me in a difficult position..." , because I suppose he felt pressure to follow up. Really? I put HIM in a difficult position? I can't see a doc who I'm hesitant to talk to. He is a good doc, I know, but there is good and then good

Years ago I was a patient of Dr. Bells when I was pregnant with my second child. Since I was 35 he offered an amniocentesis but I said no just an ultra sound. The ultrasound room never seemed to be available and at 6 1/2 months he gave me the go ahead to attend my sisters wedding in N.J. While there I hemorrhaged at a hotel and was diagnosed with placenta previa which is easily detected by having an ultra sound. My premie baby was in the hospital for three weeks and Dr. Bell did not call or email us at any point. We heard nothing from him. Dr. Bell- if you're reading this, after all these years I would still like an apology! By the way, my daughter is healthy, lovely, brilliant and kind.

Dr. Bell doesn't just care for you, he also cares about you.

The wait is usually longer than I'd like but I LOVED Dr. Bell! I've since moved out of state and have seriously considered driving back to Columbus to have him deliver my next baby. He is a great Dr. and always took time to listen to any of my concerns. The staff was always nice and friendly. I will truly miss having him as my Dr. when I get pregnant again (and I'm having a hard time wanting to find a new dr. in my new area because I had such a great experience with Dr. Bell)!

Dr. Bell's office is chronically unorganized and they lost all my medical records when they changed computer programs altough I had been a patient for years. His office staff is rude. After waiting over an hour in the lobby at my last two appointments, I waited another 35 minutes in the exam room. Dr. Bell did not apologize and was extremely rude when I expressed my concern for the long wait due to my work schedule that day. He is arrogant and rude and I have changed doctors!
