He is a good doctor. Will try to find the cause and will fix it. He is good

Great person and doctor but I went to him to hear about this injections he does with your own platelets. He shared with me an article to demonstrate its science and success, but he did not bother to tell me that the journal it is published is not very reputable. The good science actually does not support this procedure as having any effect but I feel like I was mislead. I think he should be more honest about explaining this especially since you pay for it out of pocket. It didn't work and when I went to another orthopedist they told me that the science doesn't support it as effective. When I showed him the article he commented "Oh well there are a lot of journals now a days where you can publish just about anything." He should be more forthcoming about that. Otherwise I liked him, but now I don't trust them.

Caring, knowledgable, takes the time to explain things.

Dr. Berkoff injected my knee and hip, both times with pin point precision and no pain. He is the best in the area for diagnostics and treatment using ultrasound. After seeing multiple Ortho surgeons for knee pain, Dr. Berkoff was the only doctor to correctly diagnose my problem and recommend the best surgeon for treatment. He also assisted in care after my surgery, always showing compassion and offering me his expert opinion for my post surgery treatment. I trust him and feel that he treats me as if I was a part of his family. I highly recommend Dr. Berkoff and will continue to see him as needs arise in the future.

His mistakes were the need for a knee surgery. Very very painful, i had the same procedure performed by another doctor and it was painless the other doctors comment was "it shouldn't hurt it done correctly". I do not recommended Berkoff at all.
